THE EVENT
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is the largest in-water boat show in the world — a five-day event that draws buyers, brokers, and builders from across the globe. It is less rarefied than Monaco, more accessible, and for that reason, a different kind of opportunity: the chance to meet people who are on their way to becoming AETHEL's clients, not yet arrived.
WHY WE ARE HERE
Fort Lauderdale is where the aspiration lives. The people here are building toward something — a larger yacht, a different life, a different standard. They are paying attention. They are learning. AETHEL meets them here, not to sell, but to be part of the education.
A RECORD — THE FOUNDER
"He walked the docks in the early morning, before the show opened to the public. He liked the boats when they were quiet — when you could hear the water against the hull and the lines against the cleats. A dockhand asked if he was lost. He said no. He said he was just looking. The dockhand said: 'At what?' He said: 'At what something looks like when it's built right.'"
