Scottsdale serves as the winter base for a significant portion of the American UHNW community — the snowbirds who bring their aircraft, their families, and their social lives to the desert for the first quarter of the year. The Barrett-Jackson auction, the golf circuit, and the private club scene create a concentrated social environment that rewards genuine presence.
WHY WE ARE HERE

A RECORD — THE FOUNDER
"He played golf badly and didn't mind. He was there for the walk, not the score. On the 14th hole, a man he had been paired with asked about the glove he was wearing — not a golf glove, a driving glove, which he wore on his left hand out of habit. He said it had been made by a glover in Millau, France, from a single piece of peccary leather. The man said: 'I didn't know anyone still made those.' He said: 'One person does.'"
